Spanish photographer based in Alicante Al Mefer returns with a new series composed of several diptychs showing us the split, the differences between urban life and nature. «Urban Disconnection» encourages us to think about this contrast. «The images depict parallel sceneries interpreting the same topic yet with antagonistic visions: the urban against the natural. In fact, the series muses over how urban life alienates urbanites, creating a disconnection from the mass and the landscape they live within», he says.
