Ashot Gevorkyan is a professional photographer, filmmaker and retoucher practicing internationally. Director of Gevorkyan’s, a company based in Kaliningrad and Moscow and has collaborated with major brands. It includes eight employees, all specialized in advertising, filming and retouching.
Ashot shows a personal project here, “Gaya”, made for his girlfriend. This one is studying design: That’s the reason why she chooses the pottery workshop as a place for shooting. The clichés, of an exceptional naturalness, highlight the young woman very fluid movements, as well as the complicated technical used to make her pots, and we can follow her step by step.
The photographer realized this serie with two cameras: One, in his hands, photographing; the other installed to film the scene. The luminous choice, the color but also the texture permit us to immerse ourself into the workshop, and to understand the technicals required by the manufacture of the pottery.
