French photographer Pauline Theon is an addict who never goes outside without her camera. Her visual universe is composed with monochromatic shots in which emerge a feeling of melancholy and sweetness. The choice of analog photography is simple : she wants to put the emotional, the feeling and the human forward. More than a simple passion, taking pictures is her therapy, her way to express herself through society, and to externalize her feelings. Portraits, landscapes and architecture are the main subjects of her work. Her portraits coexist in a mysterious and nostalgic world consisting of very different kinds of models, even if she shows a preference for androgynous models : short hair, shaved head… So if you want to become her new model, you know what to do!
