Jess Riva Cooper is a Toronto-based artist, graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in ceramics, and give teaches her art at Sheridan College. She is the author of these spring busts in bloom : rosebuds sprout from the mouths, heads decorated with flower crowns, fruits that grow behind the neck or eyes where from germinate sheets; poetic and delicate work which seems to congeal faces in a silent smile of contemplation, in a world where the man and the nature are unswerving, inseparable.
