Iceland makes so many travelers dream of vastness and of intense connection with nature. Which is obviously the case of the Polish photographer Michalina Okreglicka, who wandered the roads of this staggering island that counts 320,000 inhabitants. During 16 months, the artist who is now living on the spot immortalized her journeys on the desert roads of the country. In these splendid pictures, the Icelandic mountains overhang the asphalt marked out by yellow posts, providing us with a pleasant sensation of peace and solitude.
