The Portuguese photographer André Vicente Gonçalves, who already published a project titled Windows of the World, that we presented you 8 months ago, now returns with the same concept applied to doors. In this new series, the artist represented by the travel agency Pesquisa Viagens and the office of tourism of the Azores, focuses on the architecture of each country in order to describe its specificities: sparkling colors or curved lines, exalted by a striking editing. As for his previous project, the result is a powerful blend of styles and shades. Even if this series just began and only concernes four European countries, there’s no doubt that the list will get longer in the course of the photographer’s trips.
