Burkitshi are Kazakhs hunters with eagles. Living in the steppes of Mongolia, these nomads perpetuate an ancestral tradition since hundreds years, in the quiet and striking beauty of the Mongolian nature. The photographer Palani Mohan captured this link between the man and his bird, so strong that it becomes palpable. Pictures are powerful and fascinating, transport us in vast, mountainous landscapes, and testify of the trust relationship between the eagle and the human.
