For her series Land of Nothingness, Belgian photographer Maroesjka Lavigne travelled in Namibia to capture desert pictures filled by serenity. She visualized this country as a vast silent landscape with pastel colors. A certain slowness and solitude is shown in this work ; only the gas stations and epiphanic manifestations of animals remind that there’s still life around.
