Michael Massaia, an American 36-year-old photographer, has imagined this photos series “Transmogrify” : a catalogue of melting popsicles ice creams, on a black background, shaping famous pop culture characters such as Batman, Sonic, Bugs Bunny, Spiderman and Spongebob. It gives abstract forms of disfigured faces that remind us of the Rorschach test.
