Through his series “Distant Natures”, photographer Manuel Alvarez Diestro wanted to show the contrast between the natural landscape of Hong Kong, filled by bold forests, and civilization, filled by skyscrapers in concrete. In his shifting framings, we see appearing, in each corner of images, the half part of a building with trees and green vegetation in the background.
