Spanish artist Ignacio Canales Aracil creates very beautiful sculptures of pressed flowers connected between each other around a base that shapes the artwork. He works often with high and conical models, reminding us of wedding cakes, on which the flowers dry and take the natural shape of the base. He manages to preserve flowers from mold by covering them with a light protective varnish.

Exhibition at Lucia Mendoza gallery in Madrid through the end of February.
