The ever-popular fashion designer, Virgil Abloh, has made headlines for his newest capsule collection which was done in collaboration with Paris’ Musee du Louvre that features clothing designed with paints by the all-time great, Leonardo da Vinci.

The collection was coordinated to be a celebration of da Vinci’s life 500 years after his death. Abloh, who is the creative genius behind Louis Vuitton’s men’s clothing collections as well as a DJ and business connoisseur, developed this particular line for his streetwear brand he created in 2012.

I was fascinated with da Vinci early on,” said Abloh.”I was super interested not only by his artworks but also by the influence he had in many disciplines besides art: science, engineering, architecture… To me, he symbolises everything the Renaissance was.
