Christina West is an Atlanta-based artist specialized in sculpture. Her magnificent creations consist essentially of real size human figures, and busts of classic inspiration. From an early age, Christina West has always loved creating things. Endowed with a great sense of humor, the artist does not hesitate to express it by adding malicious details to her sculptures.

Credits : This is Colossal – Artaxis Her busts represents human faces altered by a large multicolored “task”. These tasks, forming several layers inside the character, allow the artist to represent her characters interiority. This choice for colors is not harmless: it allows to attract the viewer’s eye on what’s inside. A way for the artist to focus our attention on this interiority, both rich and complex, but also to convey a message full of meaning : Do not stop at the strictest appearance.
