Having studied engraving and drawing, Berlin-based tattoo artist Valentin Hirsch works a lot the precise features, the dotwork and the symmetry of his works in his portfolio. Most of the time, his tattoos present skulls and wild animals’ faces divided by a central axe. The tattoo is either made on the same body part or on two separate sides for instance a tattoo on the right hand will be completed on the left hand. Sometimes, the whole face of the animal is drawn, sometimes, he does original associations : an animal side and a skull side.
