Britta Boeckmann is a German designer living in Melbourne who spends a lot of time creating jewels inspired by Australia’s fauna and flora. She started her career at the studio Wangaratta Woodworkers in which she learned a various techniques of jewels fabrication. Then she founded her own brand, that she named BoldB, and since she creates earrings, necklaces and rings from wood fragments she assembles to resin. The colors of the resin and the shapes of the wood change ; she even imagined a phosphorescent jewels collection. Everything is handmade, and she uses molding, varnishes and sanding techniques.
