The Dutch brand Vlisco, historically assiociated to colonisation in Center Africa and South-Africa, visual cornerstone of the painful past still delivers today a psychedelic and colorfull atmosphere. Founded in 1846 by Pieter Fentener van Vlissingen, its collection made of complex mingleing of geometric patterns is nowadays in the hands of Zara Atelj.

The keyword given to the team of stylists was clear : “Go crazy please”. The whole point of its birthday exhibition at Helmond Museum was to drive the spectator into a whole hallucination made of carpets and fabrics wittily built in a vertiginous visual illusion.
