Ying Gao‘s creations are always more than just clothes. She mixes new technologies and fashion to create garments which question the body and its relationship with environment. For this series entitled N(NO)WHERE (NOW)HERE, the fashion designer imagined two interactive dresses with aerial designs. Made from photo-lumninescent yarns, the dresses are activated by the spectator’s gaze. A poetic way to question our relation to the others and our way to comprehend our senses.
