Artist Seb Lester did a mural artwork in London (Salop Road, E17) last week. First Time Ever takes, in a calligraphic style, a few lines of the song “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” by Roberta Flack, written by Ewan Mac Coll : The first time, ever I saw your face / I thought the sun rose in your eyes / And the moon and the stars / Were the gifts you gave / To the dark, and the endless skies.
