When Hanna Bullen-Ryner walks in nature, she observes different elements that will compose her Landart works. Skillfully assembled, they then depict colorful birds with bright eyes, moving or standing peacefully on tree branches. To do so, she uses only natural materials found locally and no permanent fixing. “Every piece I create is inspired by the organic forms of the natural environment around me” she explains. The ephemeral nature of her art gives her creations a precious aspect. “Within moments sometimes, my offerings fly away on the breeze” adds Bullen-Ryner.
