Raised in Tehrann Iran, Arghavan Khosravi is a painter. Her work is deeply connected to her own personal experience of the culture and politics of her homeland of Iran, that probe both personal and political experiences by integrating historical motifs with imagery taken from popular culture and contemporary media. An alliance that we can easily see by viewing her different pieces, and that is cleverly and beautifully made. Khosravi’s work offers the viewers a role of interpret: faced to her paintings, the narrative can only be provided by them.
