The Association of Illustrators (The AOI), in partnership with the Directory of Illustration, has announced this year’s shortlist for the World Illustration Awards. The winners will be exhibited at the Somerset House this summer. This year, political subjects are prominent after #metoo, Brexit and climate change, showing how illustrators react to the contemporary world issues. A large array of techniques has been selected from 3D models, embroidery, animation, to large-scale interactive installations. Here, a focus on the finalist winners of the contest.
