Amisol is a sleek and subtle suspension light by Norwegian designer Daniel Rybakken for the Italian lighting company Luceplan. Designed as a large lamp without the burden of heavy weight, this striking object combines form and function perfectly. Hanging from the bottom of the lamp via two thin rods is a circular aluminum frame with a white translucent film or mirror stretched over it, which diffuses or reflects light. The disc can be rotated to different angles. Given its size, Amisol works best in large spaces. Amisol creates an aesthetically-pleasing and well-lit ambiance to any interior, be it a home, hotel, or restaurant.
