The Yeonnam-dong 239-20 Café opened in July 2017 and has a special feature: When you walk through the doors of the establishment, you will have the impression of being truly immersed in a cartoon. Indeed, the designers opted for a monochrome atmosphere, inspired by a television series from Korea: W by Lee Jong-Suk and Han Yyo-Joo. In it, the characters are at the crossroads of the real world and a fantastic world.
Many trompe-l’oeil are scattered in this incredible decor where cups, cutlery, and furniture looks like comic drawings, between black and white walls, thus making the place both warm and wonderful.
