These little round houses are the new creations of the ex-Rolls Royce engineer Jag Virdie. With his startup  Conker Living, Virdie is out to offer an affordable and eco-friendly solution to pricey housing. These home pods retails for 27 000 dollar US for 10-square-meter, each spanning 3.9 meters in diameter. Not only are they adaptable for varied terrains, they are also joinable together, to form larger spaces. These small houses are made of aluminium and upcycled plastic, designed for durability and also eco-friendly. The spherical structure can harvest rainwater that flows down the sides of the homes. This water can be filtered and reused. Also made for winter, its heat reclamation system confines warmth within the pod, thus lowering electricity consumption.
