Nicolas Dehghani is an illustrator from Paris, also director of CRCR, a collective of six members who works together on various projects : illustrations, advertisements, clips or short films.
The images he created for personal work are a way to develop his graphic style. His technique consists of starting from a specific point of the image, then continuing to draw until the surface is full, such as “a drawing made on paper during a phonecall”.
He fell in love with the airbrushed posters realized by Philip Castle for Orange Mécanique, and was inspired by these to make his illustrations. His idea is to show on his illustrations the same volume obtained by Philip Castle on his posters, but using Photoshop to modernize the concept. His graphic universe consists in brightly colored and very detailed illustrations with beautiful and colorful characters.
