Fransje Gimbere’s textile structures result from a thorough material and form study. For this project called « Standing Textiles », the artist’s ambition was to revisit textile and its natural fragility to create a robust material that can be used to build interior furnitures. A bio-resin allowed the artist to shape and retain the form of her sculptures while preserving the textile delicate look. This amazing work was showcased during the Dutch Design Week 2017, thus paying rightful tribute to the Dutch artist.
