Based in Tokyo, Oki Sato is the founder of Nendo Studio. Luca Nichetto is shown to him in Stockholm and the founder of Nichetto Studio. These two studios and different cultures have joined together during a creation called Isole, a modular sofa. This word means the island in Italian and refers directly to the concept of furniture. Indeed to the first sketches, Oki Sato imagined soft and organic forms like drops of water, of the islands.
