Art can draw its inspiration from any type of materials, as demonstrated by the creations of the Portuguese artist Bordalo II. In order to create his inspiring and surprising sculptures, he visits abandoned factories and junk yards before assembling his finds and covering them with a good layer of paint. An artistic process that gives birth to foxes, pelicans and pink flamingos, which is mainly created to raise awareness among citizens about our excessive production of waste.
