Artist and sculptor Megan Geckler designed an immersive rainbow installation in a cube installed in Los Angeles. In a square structure in aluminium, she superposed thousands of fluorescent tapes, in a spectrum of colors including pink, blue, yellow, green and silver. The experience is different from the outside or inside the cube. From the outside, with the light, the patterns look like an extreme photographic close up with an ethereal dimension brought by the “pixels” effect. From inside, we can distinguish new colors such as violent, cyan and ochre thanks to the superposition of translucent tapes.
