Since his childhood, Chinese artist Zheng Lu is fascinated by the organique shape of projections and splashes of water. To freeze this beauty, he started making large scale sculptures in steel showing explosions of water, suspended in the air. Bord in a family of calligraphs, he drew his inspiration from the calligraphic writing through thousands of tiny Chinese characters in steel that he hangs on a molded plaster base. His artworks are exhibited at the Sundram Tagore gallery in New York through the 10th October.
