For her installation at the festival “Sculpture by the Sea” in Aarhus, Denmark, Swedish artist Susanna Hesselberg chose to install a “deep” library, covered by a glass and hollowed in the ground and soil. The viewers can contemplate the books like the bottom of a mining shaft. Named When My Father Died It Was Like a Whole Library Had Burned Down, this artwork presents a funeste dimension and referred to the song of Laurie Anderson – “World Without End”. This installation will be exhibited until the end of the festival : on the 5th of July.
