The Saint George Hotel, Kimpton’s only hotel operating in Canada and located in the heart of Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood has recently been renovated. Its interior design, conceived by Mason Studio, convey a sense of local pride with several local objects and reminders to the history of the city. The global atmosphere is warm, harmonious, and the guest lounge area holds an impressive collection of bespoke pieces of furniture, artworks, lightings, many crafted by local artists and designers.
«The suites are a continuation of the nostalgic nod to the layered heritage of the neighbourhood. The rooms are designed with a residential approach by housing a collection of art and custom designed furniture and lighting that is seemingly collected over time», says the press release. A mural has also been created on the building by local stress artist BirdO.
