Omar Aqil is an artist and also director of CR Studio, based in Lahore, Pakistan. Having already mentioned his work in one of our previous articles for his transformations of Picasso’s paintings, the artist returns with a new serie, entitled « Musing”, always inspired by the famous painter.
His exquisitely detailed characters are made up of everyday items from kitchens and other rooms in the house. Wishing to retranscribe Picasso’s work in his personal artworks, Omar Aqil uses a technique that the painter used to realize his portraits. The resemblance with Picasso’s style is bluffing, embellished with a personal touch brought by the artist, and the result is just enchanting.
