Always one to come up with breakthrough designs in minimalist fashion, Japanese studio Nendo presents Paper Torch: a flashlight that’s made from a heavy-duty, water-resistant sheet of paper with a printed circuit board by  tech startup AgIC. Rolling up the paper allows electricity to flow from the batteries to its 7 LED bulbs, resulting in a fully-functioning flashlight that will come in handy during emergencies. The intensity of light can be adjusted by how tightly or loosely you hold the rolled-up sheet, and each side can emit either a warm yellow or cold white glow.
