Masato Sekiya is reimagining the traditional Japanese fish cabin. The architect has imagined a house perched on a cliff in a small village of Nara, Tenkawa. From a certain angle, it seems like the house in floating in the air above Ten river. The couple, for whom the project Cliff House was created, had chosen this specific spot to practice “ayu”, a type a fishing. Surrounded by the Mount Omine, the cabin offers a stunning view on the forest and the majestic waters of the river.
