In Shunan, Japan, Kubota Architect Atelier realized a house combining delicacy and robust concrete walls. The city is highly industrialized and the place is located on the edge of a very noisy road, which explains the choice of materials. The light entries in the house are controlled by robust surfaces on both sides and an island design.
