The artist Kaitlyn Schwalje recently presented his new sculpture « Unfit for Consumption”. Her work, that she structured on two levels, denounces the disastrous Fukushima’s effects on the Japanese ecosystem. On the top appears to be represented a scene of classical nature composed of moss and animal figurines. The lower part actually criticizes the contaminated animals by radioactivity which are now killed and buried 56 kilometers from the power plant. A powerful work to meditate.
