Jonas Wood is an artist based in Los Angeles, who has a singular and graphic style, paintings which seem to be collages, the raw beauty of which catches immediately the eye. He reinterprets everyday views from his life, domestic interiors, family, tennis courts or basketball players, flowerpots, vases, by allying geometry and luxuriant vegetation. The shapes are dense, the colors vibrant, a work which oscillates between abstraction and representation.
