More than 4000 Indian green parakeets are fed daily by Sekar, now nicknamed “the Birdman of Chennai”. Ten years after the tsunami that hit this region, Sekar, aged of 62 years old, fell into a pair of parrots at his home. He started feeding them the day after with rice he cooked at home. Progressively, these exotic birds massively came to move in and make their nests in his garden.
