Engaged for Blacks’ rights, he went on stage disguised as a prisoner, chained with other Black musicians in cages. Nominated 11 times this night, he’ll win 5 awards in total : for best rap albumr (To Pimp a Butterfly), for best rap performance, best collaboration (with Thundercat, Bilal and Anna Wise), best music video of the year (for “Bad Blood” with Taylor Swift) and best rap song (for “Alright”).
