
High school students from Connecticut carried out a project in collaboration with an aquarium and a 3D-printing company to help an African penguin to walk again after 5 years of disability. This 23 years-old penguin called Purps could therefore use a brand new orthopaedic shoe printed by a machine so it could use its two legs again.
