Presented at the Festival de Cannes 2015, A Tale of Love and Darkness was directed by Natalie Portman and will tell the life of Israeli author Amos Oz (played by Amir Tessler), adapted from his autobiography : his childhood during the creation of an Israeli state, his political career and how the conflicts between Arabs and Jews have hurt his family. In her own movie, Natalie Portman plays the role of the author’s mother. The trailer is available only in hebrew for now and the movie hasn’t find some distributors in France yet.
