Anousheh Ansari was the first female space tourist. She went to space on September 18, 2006 with the Russian Spacecraft Soyuz from Kazakhstan. She docked onto the International Space Station (ISS) and lived in space for 8 days. She sponsored the X-Prize program to award 10 million Dollars to the inventor of the first spacecraft that can be re-used in order for everyone to be able to view the Earth from space. She co-wrote My Dream of Stars: From Daughter of Iran to Space Pioneer with Homer Hickam based on her life. She shared her experience and her views on the universe during various events and panels. She has and continues to inspire people. Turkish studio Bİ’ŞEYLER New Media Works translated her experience and journey through this 3D animation, like for instance when she met the Earth from the window, for the first time.
