Dolls are rarely realistic, nor really look like their model. Based on this observation, José Francisco Cerezo Roldan decided to correct these defects to become “doll face maker”. With paint, Spanish artist reworks the features and contours of the face of these children’s dolls, in order to make them more human. He first starts by removing the industrially designed make-up, and paint another one, more meticulous and in realistic proportions.
