Haley Tippman is an artist based in Germany from where she dedicates her talent to illustrating in her colourful and fascinating drawings the scenes of daily life that she observes every day around her. Her passion? Observe people. Their facial expressions, postures, gestures, manias, expressions, attitudes. She then translates these crowds of strangers into images in a subtly grotesque, or caricatural, style, in order to highlight the striking features of her observations. Its vivid line and sketched fillings create a fascinating vibratory effect, which gives life to the characters and a certain narrative depth to the situations that are depicted.
