Kilian Vilim, the director of this animated short film, explains that he drew inspiration from his own working experience to make this film. In a black and white universe, centred on the elevator cabin, we follow the lobby boy from floor to floor throughout a night of work. Alone, he is invisible to clients, and sinks into the bottomless distress of this very alienating work. The director explains that these comings and goings from top to bottom are moments when you have a lot of time to think, to go over the ups and downs of your own life. The main character is followed by a real descent into hell until the nervous breakdown.
