The Design Museum of Chicago is exhibiting a gathering of drawings telling much about the use of bicycle in urban places. After the rise of urban sports such as parkour, which is to be watched in video clips broadcasted on TV by sports brands, reconverting the city in a playground seems at stake in the minds of artists and designers of our time. With a touch of humour, drawers gathered at the exhibition are exploring the daily experience of bikes users : stealing, speed, customization, over passengering, looks and attitudes. Drawings styles are multiple, calling upon abstract art and press drawing.
