It’s after he left his work in a design agency to focus on music, that Camilo Medina began to make his illustration for recreational purposes and to post them on Instagram. Colorful and original work, made with an affirmed style, that seems coming straight from a parallel universe. Shortly after, he was being hired to use his illustration style for local bands and venues, before it became his full-time activity.
« I love examining the works of both old and modern artists and try to understand why they make me feel the way they do. I have fun trying new styles, drawing funny faces and all that stuff, but for me, it’s all just a vehicle to create a special feeling in people when they look at my work. » says he.
