Stefan Thelen, better known as Super A, and mentioned earlier, is a Dutch artist using a technique of traditional painting associated with an undeniable talent for design, making his creations unique pieces. The inspiration comes directly from his experiences and thoughts, materialized through his work.
The artist has recently amended characters from popular culture in his serie entitled « Trapped », to reveal their true face. Defying the parameters instituted by their creators, going beyond the imaginary, he manages to deconstruct their figures of cartoon characters, from Mickey Mouse to Hello Kitty, thus highlighting their true nature, if they were real.
