John Holcroft, mentioned earlier, is a British illustrator who, from his tender childhood, has always been dreaming of being an artist. After leaving school, he decided to pursue his career in graphic design before changing his path, because of technological changes and the emerging digital revolution. He becomes a freelance journalist and starts painting with acrylic on canvas. His style evolves over time but retains its vintage, retro look.

Satirical and staging comical situations, his illustrations evoke major contemporary issues such as gender equality, addiction to new technologies, the increase in the cost of energy, or the cost of tobacco.
